Orono Lions Club is looking for a few good people
The Orono Lions Club is a place where you can help the community and have fun while doing it. Socializing with unique individuals and meeting interesting people is an additional plus when you become a member. We have been established since 1952.
What do I need?
The only thing you need is to commit a small amount of your time volunteering every month. Other than that: Absolutely nothing besides a great smile when we see you! We accept all volunteer’s that would like to help us in our great cause. We give 100% back to the community.
I am busy, but would like to help when I can; may I still join?
Of course, you can! Most members of the Orono Lions have their own kids, spouse, friends, and family. We understand that everyone has busy lives, so we only ask for what you are willing to put in. No obligation necessary. Come when you can!
When and how do I start?
Go to one of our bi-monthly meetings or social gatherings. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at Anchor Scientific in Long Lake.
