Snowball Open in Review

This year was a huge success. We had 480 golfers and over 600 people attending the event. We would like to thank all of you who came and enjoyed our annual Snowball Open event. All the money raised will go back to the community in many forms to benefit the needy.

Special thanks to all the sponsors who had donated prizes, gift certificates, and the sponsors who worked a hole. Without you the attendee’s would not of had so much fun. Thanks.

A big thanks to the city of Long Lake and Orono Public Works who helped out with the Christmas trees and snow plowing. Also, the Cub Scouts Pack 206 did a great job helping as the clean up crew. We would like to personally thank all who had volunteered their time to set up and break down the tents, holes, and all the equipment.

Hopefully we are all still here for the next Snowball Open on Saturday, Jan. 28 2012 (10AM to 4PM).

We look forward to seeing you next year.

Bradley Hansen,

VP Orono Lions

This year was so much fun. Thank you to all who helped set up and work the event. We had a really nice day to golf and some real cool sponsors/tee boxes: who had worked the greens/tee boxes. People came from all over to golf. Wow what a nice event! Already looking forward to next year.
