The Snowball Open is back and this year it’s going to be BETTER than ever!!! While last years Snowball was a screaming success the Lions along with local businesses are determined to make this year one you’ll never forget. For those of you who don’t know the Snowball Open is a full 18 hole golf course built for one day on Long Lake (Hennepin County) in the middle of winter. Union Cemetery Cleanup
October 18th, 2012Throughout the years the Orono Lions have made a commitment to help keep our local Union Cemetery something that the community can be proud of. Every five to seven years we have gone in to assist in cleanup and this year it’s time to do it again. On Saturday, October 20th we will be meeting there at 9am and working until the job is done. Many hands make light work and we are going to need as many hands as we can get. Whether your a Lion, your family has history there, or you’re just a proud member of our community please take this opportunity to come do something great!
